On June 19th, 2014, at 5:30 p.m., the Kenosha County Courthouse Preservation Society will unveil the newly completed portrait of the Honorable Barbara A. Kluka in the Grand Courtroom of the Kenosha County Courthouse, 912 56th Street, Kenosha, WI 53140. All members of the Kenosha County Bar Association, as well as their friends and family, are invited.
Judge Kluka, the first female judge in Kenosha County, retired in August 2011 after twenty-two years of service. She is a Lifetime Jurist Achievement Award winner from the State Bar of Wisconsin. At the unveiling, the Honorable Bruce E. Schroeder will give a presentation on the history of the Kenosha County Courthouse and its Grand Courtroom. A reception at Ashling on the Lough will follow.
